TigerLady wrote over 3 years ago Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been on in a while but just got back to work after back surgery so getting back into the swing. As for Mighty Max, he just had a treatment and got home yeterday after being @ Children's-Omaha, NE for 5 days. He's only a couple treatments behind now and hanging in there. His hair had started to come back, but now it's coming out again. Looks good, though, and last night got to go see his school friend play softball! He looks forward to any outing he can attend. Thanks for all the prayers, I know they helped get us ALL thru the spider bite scare. I'll let you know what the card count is up to after Bambi gets to the post office later today. I got him a cool H-D one w/ a yellow (our favorite color!) bike on the front. It said hope you feel better soon on front, and inside it said, but you can't get better than a Harley! TigerLady wrote over 3 years ago UPDATE: Mighty Max had his card count jump WAYYYYY up thanks to my Sista-Friend Amy Dorr at Holstein's H-D, Omaha, NE. She had someone drop off..get this: 1,940 cards yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!! The most at one time since I started the card campaign. He has been getting them from around the states too, thanks to some of you on cyclefish. Thanks bunches. He even got a post card from POLAND! We both got stuff from Jerry Arizona, an old scooter tramp buddy of mine from Phoenix. And we both got t's from an Indian dealership in Gilroy, CA. I friend of mine from here in Iowa got a story about Lil' Bro published in "Smoke Signals" in the CA version of the Iron Indian Mag. Keep the cards and prayers coming as Max goes back in today for another treatment. I'll keep you updated. Special thanks to Roaddog for passing the word while on the road for the "Ride For Sophie". LOL As for Mighty Max..he is getting out tomarrow from what was a stay over ANOTHER spider bite! At least they knew what it was right away and were able to treat him immediatley. He had been mostly caught up w/ treatments that had all gone real well. The infection from the bite gave him a staph infection in his port so they had to put a new one in. He will also have an automatic drip of antbiotics for 2 weeks. No swimming for Lil' Bro for a while! I'll be sure to tell him you all asked about him when I talk to him Tuesday. I have my own place now and don't get to see him as much as I was. He and I have a date to go to the Clubhouse as soon as he is able. Thanks for all the love, prayers, and of course the cards!! He is up to 21,637!!! keep them coming.  |

Needs cards too as the numbers have drifted off lately. Last I know of is 24, 007 or something in September. Promise to write more soon. Hope you all can spare a prayer |
