It's a small world

So I'm coming back from my 10 day trip to Kalifornia.  I trailered from the Seattle area (due to snow and road closures!) to Redding, CA then rode to Palm Springs for a few days then reversed my trip.
I'm now headed home after a 12 hr 688 mile ride and the bike is in the trailer and I up in the middle of Oregon and I decide to text Highrisk.

Would you believe that he and Deener were on there way to Oakland and were only a few miles up the road from me!!  So I pull into the Seven Feathers Casino and have a drink with them and some lunch and we then again head down the hwy in opposite directions.  Just out of the blue hundreds of miles from home and here we are.  Small world

That is very cool. sounds like HighRisk & Deener are just meeting lots of CF members this weekend. Heard they were hanging with DebraJo and HarleyMan yesterday!

BTW Ray! You do know I only live an hour from Palm Springs !!!!!

We had a great time yesterday with them, they came by our friends house after Grandpas birthday party and had a couple of drinks with us.

They were a part of our exciting day of meeting friends and getting our new bike.

It was a nice day!

Yeah, sorry I didn't call you.  Got busy with my BD group and then my brother and I split my tank and expanded it so I don't have to stop on the road every 90 minutes so we expanded it from 3.8 gl to right at 5 gl.  Fits the bike better now also.  Will hook up with you on the next trip down there though.  See ya at Redwood.

Ha ha, my brother helped me split my tank and weld in a piece to enlargen it.  Got tired of stopping every 90 minutes for fuel.  On the way home I did three stops all of about 175 mile so much better on long trips.  Here is a pic of what we did.  Fits the bike way better now.  Thanks

Very nice job. With the tapered addition, it keeps really lines. I'll check it out in just a few weeks in Redwood.

Nice job! The bigger tank makes a huge difference. My V-Star 1300 has a 4.9 gallon stock tank compared to my Sabre 1100 which only had a 3.5 gallon capacity! Extra gas means extra miles on the road!
