It is so freakin hot here, it's killing me.  It has been over 100º here every day for the past two weeks.  I work at home and our air conditioner is broken - needs a whole new unit and I just can't replace it right now.  So I sit here and work with a fan on me, and a towel next to me to wipe the sweat from my forehead and neck.

Ok, I'm done complaining...

So how's your weather???

OMG! it is hot and humid. How is the smoke down there? You are across the valley from the big fire I believe but I bet the air quality is not good at all.

We had clouds here and it was 100 today! Good news it is supposed to be in the 80s this weekend.. come up and BBQ with us! It is my daughters 23 birthday so we should have some fun...(yeah I was like 6 when I had her hehehe) I am really hoping for better weather soon!!!! Really though, jump on the bike and come on!!!

I just jump in the pool and work wet. That's the only way to cool off in this 100 degree weather! California needs to change it's nickname to The Heatwave State.

Sorry to hear about you AC lucky, Austin is one or two days short of breaking a 1920 something record for triple digit days. No rain lots of heat and lots of AC's breaking down. Good for AC techs not good for us. I do have a small window shaker you are welcome to use. Last time I used it ran.

Here is Seattle we have had a GREAT summer..... Temps anywhere from the 70's to the low 100's....... But this morning it was a thunder and lightning show... Thunder setting off car alarms.... First thought it was the bike alarm in the garage.... We need the rain. The Kisfan bike gets to sleep in and take a break today...

I missed most of the PA Mid-Atlantic bad weather while on the Ride for Sophie. But since I got back is has been really wet. Some sort of record for this summer I think. Not really too hot just a lot of wet.
So we had weather yesterday, will have weather today and will even have weather tomorrow. Whether or not we want it.

It's like 92 degrees here with 100% humidity and thunderstorms. Not very comfortable for working on an oil rig...not very comfortable to do anything for that matter. We have been working 4am to 1pm to try to miss the heat, so I am on lunch right now. Gonna head back to Dallas as soon as the day is done, but looks like rain showers al the way over.

Hey GoFur, sure sounds like East Texas but I think you are in West Texas.

My home and family are in Dallas, but I'm working in Houston right now. Weather sucks, and I only see my kids on weekends, but its the only work I can find right now.

I live about 15 miles away from Lucky and a tad closer to the ocean and I can attest to it. It's HOT!
I think I'll go for a ride in a wet t-shirt... LOL

Yesterday was nice weather. Got caught in a short nothing shower but over all is was a good day for riding. 70's, nice breeze, and alittle cloudy. Did about 200 miles just messing around, had a nice lunch at the diner, and a found a cool bar on old 66 along with some awsome scenery. Today it is raining and gonna rain all week long according to the forcast. So I guess I am gonna be wet this week and the bike is gonna get dirty. Have a good one and enjoy the ride.
