Anyone ever been to Mountainfest in Morgantown WV?
Thinking about making it a road trip this summer but don't know anyone who has ever been there before.

Yes was there 2 years ago not really impressed. seemed to be disorganized and cramed into a smalll area.

Heard from a friend that this past years was dead!

I like Thunder in the valley better Johnstown Pa.

Been there the last two years. Loved both years especially the trip down. Not to disagree with shedsruty59 but for the weather that they had last year it was pretty good plus I don't think there are a lot of Travis Tritt fans that ride. Better line up this year but not as many back-up bands.As I said before a friend and I went down two years ago and we took another couple with us last year. This year there are 19 of us going down and more adding on to the list. As a suggestion we stay at a motel in a little town called Grafton so we know we will have a room and then ride to Morgantown and back. It's no Wetzel or Rodeo but it is cheaper and the scenery I believe is better.

I was just looking for a couple different relatively short road trips for the summer and ran across the info for it.
Figured it would be a decent ride there and with some good riding once I got there.
I'll probably just camp at their camping area if I go down bmh. I like to be where the party is ;) There is lot to be said for sleeping in a real bed and having the comforts of home but I hate having to make my way back to a motel at the end of the night.

Sorry guys guess I was wrong about the Travis Tritt fans. I do like some of his stuff but I guess I just assumed most riders didn't like him. Thanks for proving me wrong.

I bet one could find Ball Mason jars with clear liquid in them.
