Ethanol E-15

ITCHY wrote about 1 year ago The goverment is considering a law mandating a 15% ethanol blend in all gasoline. My sorces tell me that only 18 cars were tested and all of those were 2001 or newer. Ethanol burns hotter than gasoline and as such will cause your engine to run hotter which could cause damage to older engines and especialy air cooled engines. i ask that you contact your lawmakers and insist that no such law should be considered untill it is proven through testing that this blend of ethanol will not harm older and/or air cooled engines. you can contact the white house at this web address.http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact |

I will drive down the road to another station if all they have is the ethanol.
