Ride for a Vet is a motorcycle ride beginning during the Memorial Day weekend parade in Burnsville, Yancey County, North Carolina which is scheduled for Saturday, May 26 2012 at 12:00 pm.
All riders will ride as the first wave in the Memorial Day parade, and will then leave town for a scenic ride in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
There will be live music the night before, refreshments, a raffle, door prizes, and 50/50.
Registration: Saturday 1000am- 12:00pm
Ride Leaves: NOON
$20.00 per bike, and $10.00 per extra rider. This includes dinner for each rider.
All proceeds for this event will be donated to the Mount Mitchell Marine Corps League 1266 to assist veterans who are unable to assist themselves and must depend on others for help.
