Better than Diamonds!

  I am not like most women.  I live in the middle of  Kansas, in the middle of the United States.  I grew up in a small town of 13,000 and currently live in a Farming/ Rural town of 250  people (not thousands).  So being simple is ALL me!   Some women and some friends of mine, constantly badger their husbands, boyfriends, or significant others to buy them the latest piece of "Chocolate Diamonds",  The newest in the " open "S" collection or someother precious gem adorned jewelry.  I beg for bike upgrades!.  Although,  yes I, like any other woman, love some jewelry, especially my beloved tourquoise and silver....  but that is another story.  And I only have 1 diamond anything in my posession and my husband gave it to me 31 years ago!

   Recently my wishes have been simple. I have been riding my own now for 3 years.  And with every new HD catolog, I love to browse the Sportster section to circle my dream Upgrade parts.   Last year I was surprised with new highway pegs for Christmas. I was excited to get them.  However, I haven"t really used them,  still a tad apprehnsive when I lift my feet to "stretch out".

  So this year for "Mother's Day" I was surprised again.  This time with new Auxillary Lights for my red sporty.  He even installed them for me as well.  These were totally awesome!  Now I can ride to work in the early mornings and really see the ditches to watch for the lovely critters.  And also, everyone can see me better!!!  This  gift left me breathless as I hadnt said anything about my lights for a few months now.  Well I haven't got to  really use them yet either, as school is now out and my early A.M. rides are not so early.   But still,  the feeling is the same.... total excitement!!!   I am going to have to get out early so I can try them out on the road soon!!!  

  So What do you call a gal who truly thinks the new "bike parts" are way better than diamonds?????   A chick with true biker blood!!  OK to some in my family,  I am known as the "unusual breed of Biker Bitch! "    I just love my family!!!!   But I prefer to be called the Spirited Biker CHICk!!!    What will the next holiday bring me????   HMMMMM........ I cant wait to see what sparkles next on "Lil' Red!!!!!
