Riding the US part v

  • Waking up in Indianoplois Indiana the next day we met up with a remarkable young man of 12. He lives with his Aunt and Uncle, and they give him a life. He's 12 now and is th size of your average 3 year old. He rides around in a motorised wheel chair , and is a huge fan of Nascar..infact the Indianopolis 500 was on, and he had box seats. Getting out on the road we headed for Missouri to meet up with none other than Wooli and his lady Bitchy...As it turns out we met them right next door to the Super 8 i stayed in back in 2010. Coincidence...maybe. From there went to the Lake of the Ozarks...and stayed the night with Wooli's brother and family..on the lake...Went to dinner by boat to Big Dicks Halfway Inn...a really cool bar built just up from the lake ..Leaving there the next day for Olathe where they live...over by Kansas city. Stayed a few days with these guys and wouldn't ya know it, they dropped everything and came with us to South Dakota...So it was an interesting few days riding and getting to know 2 more great people. The problem I have is that I know alot of people in alot of places, but when your travelling with others you tend to just go with the flow..so i missed out on getting to meet other cool people. There is always next time I guess.. if they still want to know me ...lol.

  • RexTheRoadDog Sounds like a great adventure. All except the boat thing. Me doesn't go on water deeper than 2" (I have legitimate reasons)
  • Jonesy1340 2" mate this lake is bottomless..in parts apparently lol.
  • Bitchy Glad you had fun when you was in our care. The lake is a blast, it has more curves per miles then any thing in the 2 states... And we now know I am all about the curves.
