Stolen Susan G. Komen Motorcycle Found

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- A meth investigation turns up an unusual find that has eluded police for weeks. A stolen custom-painted motorcycle that was going to be auctioned-off to raise money for breast cancer research was found.

The donated Harley-Davidson painted pink was found Thursday during a Bullitt County meth investigation but police won't say much more. It was stolen about eight weeks ago from a trailer at the Lexington office of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The former owner says, he's just glad to have it back.

"It's a great feeling, truly a great feeling. You hate to see the condition its in now. Hopefully we can revive it and help raise some more money. Maybe this will help get the word out even better so this can be a better situation for everybody," said Shane Richmond.

Several country stars autographed the bike, including Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw and Dolly Parton but unfortunately those signatures won't be able to be saved. The charity had hoped it would go for about $100,000. No one has been charged.
