Independently owned and operated by bikers, Steel Steeds Shoreline Campground offers travelers a comfortable, enjoyable, and restful stay. Your hosts, Bob & Diane Sykes, are avid motorcyclists and long-time campers. So we know what a makes a great camping experience. We are also traditionalists. For us, it is all about the great rides, the local attractions, and having a comfortable place to rest at night and great friends to share it with.

We have ridden a lot of miles and camped for years. When we saw this area, we fell in love with the beauty of the river and the region. We have stayed at all types of places from hostels to hotels, and camped in rain and shine. When we landed in central Pennsylvania, we knew we wanted to share this beautiful place with other motorcyclists and sportsmen. And we wanted a place you could ride to on your motorcycle without packing like the Beverly Hillbillies. That's why we offer full service facilities. You can rough it if you want but we have full bed and bath amenities in our rental RVs or tent cabins. And all our full accomodations come with thick towels and deluxe bedding. If you'd rather haul your own RV (whether that's a tent, a pop-up or a motor home) - we have a spot for you.
