I don't know about you, but I am having a hard time believing that the Holiday Season is already upon us, and 2009 is almost over.  But what a great year it has been for Laura and I... We are finally realizing our dream of making CycleFish one of the best biker/motorcycle websites on the internet.  For those of you who don't know, I left my job back in July, and Laura began working part-time so that we could focus on making CycleFish what it has become today.  Although we still have a long way to go, and many new features to come, we are just so excited about how CycleFish has progressed, and the great community that has developed.  It is you, the CycleFish users, that make the site such a great place, and we look forward to adding even more great people in 2010.

We really hope that all of you are doing your part to help those in need this Holiday Season.  There are still a large number of Toy Runs and Charity Rides taking place, so be sure to check the Event Calendar and get out and do what you can.

Can you believe it's already November and the Holiday Season is just around the corner...Where did the summer go?  Hopefully the winter will go by just as fast as the summer did, and everyone will be back on their bikes in no time!  In the meantime you can still stay in touch with all your old riding friends, and make new ones, right here on CycleFish...We're here every day regardless of the weather outside.

Speaking of next riding season, we are working hard on getting all the 2010 events into our Event Calendar so that you can start making plans now.  We have updated most of the major events with their 2010 dates and information.  For those of you who had events listed in the calendar for 2009, if you are having the event again in 2010, don't forget to update it in our calendar.

CycleFish Meet & Greet Parties

As most of you know we are having the first ever CycleFish Meet & Greet Party right here in Southern California this weekend, and we also have one scheduled for early June in PA.  If any of you would like to help organize a CycleFish Meet & Greet in your area, we have created a new Forum Category to get the ball rolling.

What's New on CycleFish

We just added the User Store and Motorcycle Mall last week.  This allows our small business members to set up a store and sell their products right from their profile page.  All of the products will also be listed by category in our Mall.  We are still finalizing a few of the back-end features for our business members, so at this time the selection is limited, but you are welcome to browse and purchase the items there now.  You can expect to see are lot more businesses, and a lot more items over the next few weeks.

CycleFish November Bike of the Month

We apologize for not having the November Bike of the Month winner to announce in this newsletter...  We ran a little behind in getting the voting started this month.  There are plenty of great bikes in the competition this month, so be sure to Vote, and we will announce the winner the end of this week.

As summer draws to a close, we hope you all had a fun and safe riding season. We know for some it is getting time to put the bike away for a couple of months and break out the winter toys. For you we recommend taking a look at our tips on Winterizing Your Motorcycle. For those of us lucky enough to have a year-round riding season, there is still plenty to do. So don't forget to check the Event Calendar for rallies, rides, and runs still to come these last few months of the year.

Speaking of events, we have planned our first ever CycleFish Meet & Greet Party here in Southern California. The party is scheduled for November 7, at Cook's Corner in South Orange County, and we would like to see as many of you there as possible.  There will be live bands, raffles, giveaways, and more. Please go to the event listing at So Cal CycleFish Meet and Greet for additional information and to RSVP. We are also beginning to plan additional Meet and Greets around the country.  If you would like to help out in putting one together in your area, contact Lucky.

What's New on CycleFish:

Some of you may have already noticed that we have just added a Video Section to CycleFish. Now you can share videos by either uploading videos directly from your computer or post videos from YouTube.

We have made a slight change to the rules for the Bike of the Month Contest. For this month, the Bike of the Month is for Personal Users only. So now is your chance to show off your bike. Beginning next month (November) we will have two seperate Bike of the Month contests; one for Personal Users, and one for our Business Users.

We hope everyone is having a great summer, and finding plenty of time for riding, rallies, and events...I know we are!  Laura (HDBeech) and I have been on the bike almost every weekend this summer, and have been able to attend lots of great events, plus we still have a few more to go. If you are in the Southern California area, be sure to look for us at the Abate State Rendezvous, American Heat, and the Love Ride.

Speaking of events...there are still plenty to take advantage of this year.  So be sure to check the CycleFish Event Calendar regularly for new events in your area.
