I bought my first bike when I was 16, but it really didn't run all that well. I rode it around the block a few times and parked it, since I couldn't afford an all out rebuild, which is what that poor 650 Maxim needed. I tried to get a 1000 Virago on the road, which was also a disaster, and FINALLY, managed to get on my Mom's 400, which I'm working on buying from her. I think I've managed to make a half decent "dresser" out of something that was intended to be a cruiser, though there's still some more work to be done, including a set of straight pipes, fiberglass bags, and a mudflap. I've added driving lights, crashbars, windsheild, luggage rack, sissy bar, and, for now, leather mini bags that will have to do until I can get rid of my trumpet pipes. That's about it. I suppose I could write down my whole life story on here, but, hey, if you're still reading, you must be interested enough to drop me a message and hook up. My wife and I love to ride, and if our schedules allow, we're up for any kind of rally or bike night, and we're always looking for cool folks to share the road with!
